TSAKANE SAFARI CO & TSA CONSERVATION was established in 1995 and from the outset has always focused on providing niche’s safari and conservation products for small groups.

Although the company has since grown to acquire additional facilities to service an expanded range of diverse products we have remained true to our original vision. We have pioneered the EduTourism concept to ensure that our products and facilities provide an effective platform to expose our Guests and Program Delegates to conservation and scientific practices that are employed to maintain and promote biodiversity while offering quality safari and educational experiences.

We further understand that for many an interaction with our natural environment is not only personal but often a little spiritual and have therefore crafted products and services to cater for small groups, facilitated and hosted by industry specialists and individuals whose lives have been interwoven with our natural environment.

TSAKANE SAFARI CAMP – Fully catered accommodation and inclusive safari activities with a host of optional activities catering for a maximum of eight adults sharing.

BONA THABA GUEST LODGE – Self-catered unit and inclusive safari activities and full access to Tsakane Safari Camp accommodating two adults sharing.

INDAWO NATURE TRAILS – Two, three and four night walking safaris hosted at Indawo Trails and Tsakane Safari Camps.

TSAKANE KRUGER SAFARIS – All-inclusive three, four and six night safari package ex-Johannesburg International.

TRANSFRONTIERS PRIVATE MOBILE SAFARIS – A great and cost effective way to discover Southern Africa’s premier wildlife destination, often along less travelled routes.

TSA CONSERVATION ECO ADICT CHALLENGE – An extended intense safari and educational program.

We believe that catering is an integral part of a safari experience and traditional South African meals are generally prepared on an open fire in conversation with our Guests.

We have adopted a responsible approach to tourism and education by ensuring that the impact of our activities are monitored and continuously improved to benefit the natural environment.

We operate autonomously from other establishments, restrict vehicle movements to established roads and have adopted a strict guiding protocol to ensure that our activities do not disturb and interrupt fauna and flora, their habits and habitats.

The nature of our activities and the environments in which they are hosted naturally provides an adventure, some adrenalin inducing excitement and a unique life experience.

Our Trails Rangers and Trackers are both experienced and knowledgeable Conservationists or Ecologists who are in the permanent employment of the company.

We are proud of our injury free safety record as safety is a key priority at Tsakane Safari Co. To maintain this record for the benefit of our staff, Guests and Wildlife we employ a simple technique which includes an acute awareness of the environment and animal behavior and the discipline to avoid situations which inevitably result in Trails Rangers having to defend their Guests through the barrel of a rifle.

Trails Ranger are empowered to postpone or cancel any activities subject to safety and environmental considerations. Tsakane reserves the right, following a warning, to terminate the stay of any Guest breaching our safety protocol and thereby endangering the lives of other Guests, Staff or Wildlife.
